it's funny how sometimes expressions alter their meaning travelling across the world...
being laconic isn't supposed to seem mysterious or rude. it is supposed to be a kind of wisdom, to pass your message with only the  few appropriate words and not many useless words.
it was also a sign of a serious person and a self controlled one.
ancient greeks used to say that being laconic is the same as being a philosopher..

good definition here

You mean it's not nursing and boobs?

I believe the definition I snagged was from webster's
Kenny isn't rude, he just procrastinates and makes the rest of us wait for HP tuners.

OK now I see how Arabas would know the word... definition from the Oxford English dictionary:

laconic
n   adjective using very few words; terse.

ORIGIN
C16 (in the sense 'Laconian'): via Latin from Greek Lakonikos, from Lakon 'Laconia, Sparta', the Spartans being known for their terse speech.

"That is my theory, it is mine, and belongs to me and I own it, and what it is too." (Monty Python)

My issue is a recurring MAF and Kenny gets some other code, but our cars act similar.  Since Kenny is busy and I am retired, I figure I would do as much work as I could to find a solution and hopefully help Kenny out.

Crap... I just realized something.....

I don't think you guys run your cars hard enough.  I beat the crap out of mine almost daily and the only code I've gotten was the Evap Solenoid Valve one this week.  I even routinely cruize at 110-120 MPH on the expressways here.

BTW, Stock plugs, Stock Sensors, Wester's tune, GMPP Intake, DDM Intercooler, Solo High-Flow Cat and Street Race Exhaust, running Mobile 1 0W40.

i tend to be pretty tough on the car.  It's just some little bug.  It's like your medical exam of some patients, you search and search to find that little thing wrong making your soldiers sick.  I'm just not as good a Doc as you are....  at least until my stethoscope comes in.

That will help but you will still need to know where to look and it could be that your new tool may still not be able to help since only a handful of tables are unlocked and viewable.

I can send you a file/s you can view once you get your toy in.  One would be the stock GMPP upgraded tune/sensor file and Wester's tune of the GMPP tune so you can see if it might be a setting on a table or just a code setting that might be causing your issues even though you still have the 2.5 bar sensors .  Since you have your original tune file and the Wester's tune file you might be able to "see" some conflict somewhere that might be the culprit.  Then again it might not be that easy and you'll need to raise/ lower change some setting to narrow the problem down.

If I can't find anything wrong with my Marines I just make something up, give them some Motrin, and tell them to drink water and Change their socks!

Motrine - military version of M&M's! I got enough prescriptions for motrine (800mg horse pills) while active duty to last me three lifetimes...
