Yeah in my limited experience the only kind of spirits you want to use for the job are the ones you drink, preferably AFTER the job is done.   :D

But if you do it before or during, it can make the job much more interesting, which might then require more spirits.

SA and I did Critterman's car and we were using spirits regularly. His car came out great!

I did a little spring cleaning under the hood. Found all of this in front of and on top of the radiator. I guess I should just drive around the yard to clean up the leaves.

Finished adding the sound deadening product I can't wait to road test it. Too hot today (102). I somehow missed taking pictures after the CCF and MLV where installed before putting back together. I went overboard on the sheets but I had so much I figured I'd use it. I still have 1/2 a box left.

My Kappa was in a world of hurt in the paint department when I bought it. It's a 2001 that received a horrible paint job some time ago.

It also had really poor tires three sizes too small.

After removing an inch of paint, really cleaning the wheels (removing some old plasti-dip) and putting some proper tires on

Why would you paint a Kappa to make it look like a Doge truck?

It was the only way to fit a 360 under the hood and 275-55 tires under the fenders.

GJ: Transformation looks great, I would love to have one of those ;)

Saturday because I bought a small electric lawn mower, the box barely fit in passenger seat, I had to leave wife in the shop until I went home to unload the box, now do you understand me? :)

Looking at servicing my rear differential. Anyone have a clue on the pepper fluids to use. Looking for exact fluid names or GM part numbers. Also have a bad wheel bearing that needs replaced. Amazing how I get a complete new engine and drive train and now have a bearing failure.

Don't use pepper fluid, it isn't good for it.   You can use any brand 80/90 weight as long as it has the posi-traction additive

Spent the day doing a full Zaino treatment. Wash, claybar, wash (z7), polish (z5), polish (z2), polish(z6), final polish (z8). WHEW (zzz...)!  A lot of steps but has a great look. Almost too good. I can see all the nicks and dings.

I need to get something for my top. Raggtop or 303?

Picked up a Kappa Blanket from Taylor Thread Designs and a Kappabrella from DDMWorks for my wife's SKY.  One of each for the Solstice a little later.

Just like there are many great waxes, polishes and sealants, there are several great products to seal and protect our tops. Raggtopp and 303 are both great products.

That said, 303 is the best.   :worms:
