I was having the same issues with that DickW (mute on all the time and grayed out features in the NAV and Phone) had with the AVIC-Z110 BT
I was about to call Pioneer again since Dick had already sent the unit in for repair, took 3 months to get it back the first time.  So I googled the issues and after some research I found a way to fix the unit.  It involved removing the mute pin wire on the back of the stereo harness and moving it over one spot and then run it to ground.  The system has been working great now for a couple of days.

Finally got around to having my optional 09 polished alloys (QF8) wheels removed, boxed and stored away so that I could install the optional polished alloy split spoke (QY9) style bolted onto on our red 09 coupe to help make it a little different the the other 1266 coupes.

Also, placed small bright yellow GXP w/racing flag graphics under each valve stems for detail and nice pop of contrast to the red paint.

My Pioneer periodically mutes itself, seems to be heat related...am I have the same issue?

Changed my oil. I love the Fulmer Valve!

Also added a new sticker to my third brake light.

Looks pretty good. Probably should have taken the light out to do it, but I didn't.

I added ASP Graphics front marker lights graphics a while back, and am not at all impressed with them.

I'm sure they would look better if I took the light off to install them, but they still wouldn't cover very well.

installed the hide-away front plate on BoB, installed a cupholder, then popped his boomerang off, and removed the radio. oh, and disconnected the battery first. Tomorrow, new radio, and mount goes in. oh, and checked the hub bolts on Kenny, and checked his oil, cleaned his CAI...now to get him out and pile on some miles...maybe tomorrow, when I'm done with BoB. :idk:

Joe, maybe you should call Pioneer and tell them how to repair ther product, since apparently they don't know how.

Checked compression: 150 psi all around.

Removed a few parts for some prep and paint.  Not complete, so photos will follow.
Picked up a few parts.  Not compete, so photos will follow.

I did not drive it, but I did lather up the leather.  Although, I shouldn't post that here, so I will go post it in the other thread.

I didn't think to weigh the wheels, but I'm assuming they are quite similar in weight.  About the only thing I know is the split spokes didn't need nearly many wheel weights when they balanced them.  I'm still unsure about which style I prefer, but no way would I go dark spokes, I like the classic bling when it comes to wheels.

Also saw an identical color coupe (NA)this past weekend parked in a mall parking lot.  It was hard to see it parked with everyone elses cars as I've become too paranoid to even THINK about doing something like that.  Funny how some of us are like that and others think of them as nothing more than what they are; it's just a car.

Also received a couple compliments on it while I was driving it around running some errands.  Someone even followed me into an AutoZone and asked a couple questions about it.  The AZ clerk asked if it was the one with twin turbos  , I said nope, just one turbo, I thought about explaining but realized whats the point  :idk:
