We were trying to go get my debit card that I left at a gas station the day before! I am the luckiest person ever! A 4 yr old found it in the bathroom and turned it in!!!

And obviously I don't have it set to no un paved roads! Cuz there are plenty of unpaved roads around me and sometimes I take them. Never even thought there was such a setting!

Yeah the Garmin's do at least. I have it set for that so when I'm travelin' the GPS won't try taking me cross country on a road to no where.
Just trying to do my part...

That video was one of the better parts of the road actually. at times we were zigging and zagging about to get around the potholes

It seemed that some times we were going about 8-10 mph. hence the comment of 12 mph "maxing it out" lol

Ziptied the light on until I can get it in the air and fix it properly! Should be soon.

We forgot to mention the car was attacked by those killer flies!  I can't believe you made me get out to take the pics of the road craters right after that!  And I fell for it!!!  :banghead:  :slap:

I'll have to upload the dust and finger printing pics and post them!  Maybe tomorrow night.  Stupid early mornings! :(

That video is kinda funny now that I'm watching it again...bounce, bounce...ouch...bounce!

I like your thinking! :D

But no, that story isn't nearly so entertaining.  I have a bad habit of setting things down and then not picking them back up.  Thursday before we left, I left my purse on the back of my chair at lunch.  I even told Patty, that I was going to do that and sure enough.

So I took my little wallet into the store to pay for gas.  There was a line for the bathroom, so I paid for the gas first and then turned around and there was no line.  Still had my debit card in my hand.  I wanted to make sure I got in the bathroom before someone jumped in ahead of me, so went in..debit card still in hand.  I'm sure I set it on the sink, washed my hands when I was done, and walked right out without picking it back up.

This was also how I lost my grandmother's diamond ring a few years back.  Set it on a sink because it was a bit big while I was washing my hands, turned around and walked out without it.  I'm still upset over it...it was worth $$$$$$$$ and beautiful. :(

I have my grandmother's wedding band - it's plain gold, nothing fancy. I took it off and set it down in the driveway while cleaning my car one day. I went to a local cruise in and drove off without it. I was sick when I thought I lost it. Thank goodness it was still in the driveway when I got home. Now I leave it in my jewelry box, some things can't be replaced no matter how much or how little they cost. Sorry you lost yours :(

The only saving grace is that my Mom had one made like it from a bunch diamonds from my Grandma's other jewelry.  Mom gave me the original. If any of you are familiar with Italian grandmothers...they must wear at least 2 diamond rings on each finger!

So my dad has the duplicate, or at least it's pretty close to the original, but it still breaks my heart that I lost it.  I still look for it hoping in my intoxicated state I was in that night, that I might have dropped it in the house somewhere. :(

Anyway...back to the thread...too hot to drive, but I might have something really cool to add on Saturday to this thread!

Holy Crap! This is becoming another thread that I rarely open.  Can we start a new thread and transfer all this into it?

The next thing you know, the "I washed my Solstice and drove topless!" poster will start up again, nauseating us and blinding our minds' eyes with the mental image derived from the connotation.

^^^ Sounds exciting!

Had to add coolant but everything seems fine. Just need to double check it when it cools down. And add more if need be.

I installed a Dejon CAI and removed the engine cover to reduce heat.
I also partook in a CVO AutoX at Tire rack in Indiana and won overall :)

Nice job, Rian!

Well...my plans for tomorrow may be screwed.  I found out a few hours ago, I have to come into work to tweak a few things on the new cooling system we're installing on our brand new ultrasonic cutting system.  Apparently, 112+ heat makes ultrasonic converters 132+ F and the ceramics crystallize and blow them up.  This shakedown/start-up is going oh so well.  Try again on Monday.  :banghead:

Crossing my fingers I can get out of here early enough to do what I wanted to do!  I'm still planning to go when I'm finished at work, but it might be too late.  We'll see...

Yeah I DOES look good Sally.

Playing around with my saddles in the trunk that the pins rest on for the top when stored I finally came up with a solution that works for me.

I can finally make a legitimate post in this thread! My kappa and I are at the grand opening of the new Pontiac museum in Pontiac, Il! And as I hoped...we got to meet Tim Dye! He has the largest Pontiac collection and it's his collection in the museum! And...I had dinner with the mayor of Pontiac! They are planning all kinds of special stuff when our group visits in 2 weeks!!! I'm so excited!!!

And...my car might end up in the museum rotation! I also found replacedout my kappa and I are the reason they repaved and landscaped behind the Rt 66 museum!

We're invited back tomorrow since we have a bunch of stuff to pick up! We met the author of the Il Rt 66 guides too! I'll post more when I get home! My phone doesn't like the humidity! :(

Looks awesome, what's wrong with the wheels?
I love the deep too but like you I have to get rid of the silver around the windshield. Doesn't look right with my wheels.
