So I was having something like a limp mode situation at high speed/RPM  for about a week.
After pouring over the tune and looking through the engine bay and checking all connections. I saw 2 things. The TPS and Airload would both drop in the logs when ever this happened.  I Finally blew a MAF DTC, so I cleaned that and also did the harness connector and the maf connector with Electronic cleaner.
Did a 4th gear pull into triple digits with no issues tonight

It was 70 degrees, tonight

LOL
Where I live there is no uphill roads at all. Once I start driving I have to literally go around the entire world to get back where I started.
Or so someone would say.

That's a slick license plate holder, it's just a shame you have to have one at all.
Love my State for that.

Thanks elff! :D

In Germany you need a front licence plate all over the country.

They even have a law that the bottom of the plate has to be 20 centimeters above the road. :banghead:

Just took my Saturn out of its winter sleep.

Wow the battery is still working after all these years. :yay:

I had to change the battery of all  my German cars after a few years.

Ironhide,

I had a really busy work week a little while ago, and was recently in your country.
I spent 3 days in Tettnang and 2 days in Essen for work before flying home.  As it was my first time, I kind of went with the flow, but next time, I plan on doing a little more non-business site seeing.  Are you close to Tettnang as that is in lower germany?
I have to say it was the best business trip I ever had and the German people were super friendly everywhere I went.
I am hoping I have to travel there at least a couple times a year.

Ironhide,

Elff,

Tettnang is 7 hours away from my hometown. :D
Hude is in Lower Saxony which is far in the north of Germany.
Driving from Tettnang to Hude is like driving from Chicago up to Madison Wisconsin.

Did annual oil change and small revisions, also did a dyno, first after the engine was rebuild 2 years ago.

That's amazing, like 490 bhp!  I take it your engine, turbo, and fueling system are slightly modified? 2.0 LNF?

490 Newton meters

but 402 HP at the wheels is closer to 500 at the crank (or... bhp), considering powertrain loss.

Sorry to disappoint you, 402hp is estimated at the crank.
If you open the files from the dyno you will see the title "DIN corrected engine power".

Haha!  Very disappointed that you *only* have a 400 HP LNF, Kelu.  I expected better of you.  Please go spend several thousand more cubic Euro to satisfy me  :poke:

After the engine rebuild two years ago I think that engine can hold a lot more but is useless for me. Even now with 402bhp I can't drive it smoothly on streets, I use the 330bhp setting for daily driving.

I won't spend money on upgrading this car because it will be for sale coming weeks ;) hopefully Euro not anymore for me

Satisfied yet?  :D

Man, you are really picky. A guy offers to give you a car to help you get established in a new country and you complain about it.
I hope you end up with a Dodge Caliber.
