JPM you buy the shifters and boots just for the ring at the base where they join the console?  I would have to look at the parts first but I might be able to make those parts for you.
We don't go through a lot of them so we never thought about having them made.  This was our first order at 20 pieces and I imagine we won't sell them by the end of the year as shifter sales have kind of died down.  Of course, if you don't mind making onsey twosy stuff for a good price, we're always interested.

I know I could do the Sol ones the only issue would be the chrome plating on them but I could do them in just about any color you would want.  The cool part of the casting that I do is that small orders aren't an issue.

If there are other small plastic parts that you need keep me in mind.

I cut out a hollow circle of 1/2" birch ply for my JPM shifter.  4 small screws around the silver ring and it works perfectly.

I guess your right Critter.

But in my defense I have had a few distractions of late.

PS all of those that got a great deal on a shifter and boot because I failed to help JPM out sooner can thank me later.  All of those that are thinking they can get that great deal latter better think again and order now because I will do what I can to help JPM in the future.

Well I got my shifters today.  I had a lot of fun with it, just a little cut here and there.

I read threads on how hard some folks had removing the screw that attaches the shifter shaft.  I had no such issue.

Thanks again JPM...I love it...can wait to try it out tomorrow.

You cannot!  (Well, you could cut it off, but it wouldn't help with the new one.)

JPM (this vendor) used to (possibly still does) sell a complete setup of replacement shaft, boot and changeable knob.  That is your only alternative to the OEM though.
