It was a very good race. I have to agree the breakdown with Nico's car made it a little less exciting.
I also think Red Bull strategy with the tires cost Riciardo the 3rd place finish.
Massa was great through out the whole race.
I am with you and cannot wait for next year to find out the drivers line up.
I hope the cars from a technology point of view are a little closer to each other next year.
We have a lot of great drivers and we need for the races to be more about their skills that would win the race.

Jenson Button will partner Fernando Alonso at McLaren next year, after the team announced the two former champions as their race drivers for the 2015 Formula One season on Thursday.

I am shocked and happy to see Button have his contract renewed.
He did complete the most laps of all drivers in 2014.

This should be an interesting year for McLaren

It should be an interesting year for all the teams once they are settled.

Anyone want to make predictions for next season.

Here are some of mine.
McLaren with Honda's help are in the top 3.
Ferrari remains about the same
Williams is in Top 3 and really contends number 1
Redbull and specifically Riccardo have an amazing season and contend for number 1
Mercedes remains the team to beat

Thanks Critterman I will check it out.
It looks like the Mercedes boys are still on top.
Vettel is doing well with Ferrari, the Williams team is doing well also.
What cut my eye was the new 17 year old with Toro Rosso placed better times than Riciardo from RED Bull.
Let's see what happens in a couple of weeks, it should be interesting.

I watch both practice 1 and 2 and things are a little different from last year.
I think we will be in for a good season.
Those new rookies are doing a great job.
Waiting for the qualifying session tomorrow and then the race on Sunday.

The Formula1 website is currently down.
I have the shows setup to record  but qualifying shows as 7pm on Saturday and the race is showing as 7pm Sunday.
Is that correct?

This years cars are fast.  3-4 seconds faster than last year.  2 seconds off the fastest lap ever.  Should be an interesting race.  Ferrari was impressive.

Tomorrow should be very interesting. You have at least 5 to 6 cars that are within 10th of a second from each other.
I like  what Vettel said in his interview, you never know what the Mercedes boys will do to each other.
Also this is the beginning of the season and although Mercedes seems to be, or is the fastest, you can not discount the other teams since they are pretty close.
