Quali was good.  HAM is doing what he needs to do.  The start tomorrow is very important.

Rain, rain and more rain. If you watched it, you will see what the drivers and the FIA body had to deal with.
Will refrain from comments until the rest of you had a chance to watched it.

I also missed the end until the second showing later last night.  Some great driving in the latter part of the race.  Hell great driving just staying on the track all race.

What was more incredible was although there were some crashes, we saw no injuries to any of the drivers and in some cases, the driver was able to
get the race car back on track with no damage.
Great job to everyone on this race. Also great to see the overwhelming support by everyone for Massa.

The hilite of the race was VES driving in the last portion of the race.  I predict he will be a world champion within the next 5 years.

Hope he makes it that far, the Kid is good but takes a little bit to much risk, that could as we have seen put him and others in harms way.

If he hadn't been brought in for inter's twice, it might have been an entirely different race.  His save was nothing less than fantastic.

Hamilton sure brought it today in qualifying.  That was a blistering lap.  The one thing Hamilton does have going for him is the possibility of a Rosberg car failure.  That has not happened yet, and pretty much the only reason Hamilton is not in the driver lead right now is his car died while he was in first place.

So we will see.  A lot of lasts going on tomorrow.

Also Elff the other Brazilian driver Felipe Nazar(spelling) seems to be on the outs since his Brazilian bank sponsor is not backing him any more.
Again the Red Bull boys will start on different tire compounds than most of the rest of the field, lets see what happens.

Watched some of q3. Hammy was quick.
I can't figure out if I like the sound of the Merc or the Red Bull car better.

Yes it was a hell of a lap.  The race is going to be won or lost on the start.  RedBull and Ferrari are split on rows 2 and 3.  But two of them will have to get between HAM and ROS for HAM to reach out and grasp the championship.  Hard track to pass on.  Tomorrow should be intersting.

O yea, I was trying to figure out what happened there. I had not heard of that.   They were also talking about possibly no Brazil or German race next year

Well the season is over, the race is over, the Championship is won.  Massa and Button are no longer racing.  Next years cars will have bigger tires, will be wider and have more downforce.  What could possibly go wrong?

FWIW, I caught the last 2 laps this morning, so I know how it turned out. But then I don't usually pay much attention to this thread or to F1 for that matter.  :idk:    :2c:

We could tell GJ that some other driver that didn't finish won the race, so we only miss lead him but don't actually spoil it for him.  Kelu can soil himself.

I wonder what would have happened had they kept Ves out for one or two more laps before they had him pit, his tires would have been less worn at the end and the last few laps might have been even better.

The one that did not make any sense was the Riciardo tire change after those few laps on them.
Ferrari got it right this time at least with Vettel.
I can wait to see what the new race cars would be like for the different teams and will we have a repeat of this year or will the teams be closer in performance?.
If Ves gets a competitive race car he maybe the next champion.
