Red Bull has not announced a engine manufacturer.  Renault on the other hand has said that they will not provide engines to them after 2018.

That was an interesting qualifying session...........
The start of the race will be the most important part of it, unless there are car troubles or wrecks.

Vettel always does well in Singapore and it looks like the Ferraris and Red Bulls are setup very well.
There are always safety cars in Singapore due to the lack of run offs and that can change the race completely.
It's a tight track so hopefully no one drives like an idiot.  Aggressive driving will result in crashes here.

Looks to be a good race.  Can't wait

What is the one thing you could add to the Singapore race to make it more exciting?   Rain at the start.

Vettel just eliminated himself from the Championship. I put that crash 100% on him. So stupid.

Singapore is known to have multiple safety cars every race, so why, at the beginning of a race, that is starting in the rain, would you do something that dumb.

Congrats Vettel, you have caused the first Double DNF for Ferrari since.........I don't even know.

I do like Verstappen's comment about being happy it at least took out all 3 of them. Basically as close to saying F.U. to Vettel without actually used those 2 words.

The pack of cars that did finish, All drove some good laps.   I was surprised that Ricciardo did not have more speed.  He was never a challenge for first place.
Good consistent and smart drive by Hamilton and also by Bottas.

First double DNF for Ferrari in the first lap since they started racing in the 50's.  I think it has been 12 years or longer since they had a double DNF.  I agree 100 percent that was all on Vettel. He was so concerned by Verstappen that he didn't see Kimi on the other side.  Shame about Alonzo he made one hell of a start only to be taken out by the Vettel incident.

Not all of it, Kimi should have not try to overtake Ves, then Vettel not realizing what Kimi was doing, closes the gap on Ves. That is the result of overthinking in the part of Vettel trying to defend the inside against Ves.
To bad because it looks as though Ferrari is done with this one, unless some sort of mechanical catastrophe plegs MB.

Doesn't it always rain pretty much at the start in Singapore?

Elff I felt the same way about Ver's comment.  There was no reason for Vet to move over like that except to try and block Ver, with the left turn coming up he should have stayed where he was for the proper line.

I don't blame Kimi, Ver had a slow start and this is supposed to be racing so if Kimi could pass he should and actually was ahead of Ver.  Vet just pulled a dick move and hosed himself, his teammate, and Ver, Alonso...

I can't believe Alonso still got 10 laps after the hit he took.

At least team Ferrari had pretty good seats to watch the rest of the race.

Yea, that really through everyone for a loop.

They normally don't penalize people for collisions at the start and first turn, but after looking at the video from above,  Vettel really swerved hard.

I saw something on instagram that makes me think Aston Martin is going to be partnering with Red Bull
So would that mean it will have a Ford or an AMG engine?

NBCSN commentators made a remarked about that also, will have to wait and see if they mentioned it in the next race.
I would not think it would be AMG though.

Isn't there a limit as to how many engine manufactures there can be?  I know there is a limit as to how many teams they can support.

The article in the magazine clearly states Red Bull will continue with the current engine supplier until the end of 2018.
It also states as it has also been said by NBCSN the FIA is thinking to make amendment's to the engine specs, where by, someone like McLaren, or Cossworth (spelling) could then participate on the F1 racing program.

Vettel didn't even set a time in qualifying, starts last.  That's got to hurt his chances for the championship.

Amazing race with some very precise side by side driving in very tight turns with zero contact.
Those 4 can drive and that shows how you can pass and do it safely.

It's a shame this track will not be on next years calendar.  It has beautiful turns and some really long straights.  Combined with the heat, it makes it almost as demanding as Singapore.

The post finish lap was "interesting" to say the least.

I think so to.  The Ferrari's were very fast.  I am now extremely curious as to what happened to Kimi's car.
Vettel was behind Stroll and did not need to pass him, so I put the blame on him, but it was deemed no ones fault.
Vettel has had a weird year.

Idk stroll went way out but probably wasn't expecting him. I imagine stroll was trying to grab some marbles but the whole thing is odd.

That was a good race.

Did Vettel's crew fix his car by trading parts with Kimi's when no one was looking?
