Yep missed the first 30 of P2 because the DVR didn't know.

I watched the Ricardo version of the race so as not to have to hear Danica and her clueless commentary.  Not exactly must watch TV but better than the alternative.  I saw the prerace with Danica and thought it amusing to see the look of the other broadcasters when she was speaking and had no clue what she was talking about.

The race was not that interesting even though it was closer than some of the past races so I have some hope that things will get better.

Well the race was something else,  over 1200 failure to maintain the track infractions.  So many they couldn't get to them all.   They did serve several during the race, so many the commentator remarked on it.  Then after the race they impose an additional 12 which shifted the final finish.  It took 5 hours.

They could fix that real fast if they just said out of bounds = lap not counted.

Just like if they said if you exceed the budget cap none of the races after you exceed the cap count.

Or just develop some code that if enough cars do it, the penalty is curved appropriately.

NASCAR had it right when you could duck below the yellow line so long as you didn't improve your position.

Silverstone was probably one of the better races this year.  It looks like Mclaran suddenly has a car that can compete.

Somehow my DVR did not record P3.

OK, I think I hate you all.  I have NOT been watching F1, but because of this thread, I started watching 'Drive to Survive' last week.  I'm halfway through season 2 already, and I don't normally watch a lot of TV!

So, I believe the next race & qual is this weekend.  Is there anyway of watching if you don't have ESPN?  (My wife tore up my man-card years ago.)

There is an ESPN app.  Don't know if it costs or not because I have the channel.  You could check and see.  And yes Hungary this weekend.

The is also a Sky TV app that might be better, but not sure if it will work on this side of the pond.

While it was exciting to see Hamilton get the pole after such a dry spell, all that excitement was gone by turn two.  Ver ran off and was not see again.  Lando drove a good and Perez pulled up his big boy pants, made up spots and ended on the podium.  The rest of the race was rather dull.

True dat.

And if Sky TV is reading this why is Danica at a race outside of North America?  She's clueless, when others asker her a question and start by saying Danica what.... and she eventually responds with oh do you mean me, you know she doesn't belong there.

Is it bad that I have Spa on the DVR and still haven't watched it?  I have watched the practice, sprint race, and pre-race but kind of don't care to watch another Max parade.

Yes, every week that goes by means you have to watch it once for every week before you can watch the next race at the end of Aug.
