Critterman, yes I did and replicated, however since Elff had not posted I did not want to make it official.
I think this is good now since Mercedes now knows it can be beat.
I think the other teams are starting to get a little closer and this will make it for good racing, maybe not for podium but for 4th to 10th place.
Also lets see how long it takes Honda/McLaren to get up to par with the other teams.
The RED BULL Renault squabble hopefully will get resolved.
The rookies are doing pretty good so far.

From 5th back to about 12th it is all scrambled.  Manor is holding down the last two places and McLaren (at the moment) is right in front of them.  Merc, Ferrari, and Williams are at the top of the pile and I think we will see them swapping back and forth.  Middle of the pack is going to be a fight.

China this weeken

FP2 was very interesting from the fan who ran across the track jumping the fence into the pits (he wanted to try and drive one of the cars) to the finishing order after practice.  Set your RECORDING DEVICE.

Oh and they are racing next weekend as well Bahrain

Kelu will be happy to know that their is a MotoGP on Sunday.

Temps are seriously cooler than the last race.  I watched about 3/4 of FP2.  I'll watch the rest before qualifying tomorrow

Hamilton was in the zone.
This is a real interesting track that does not keep alot of heat in the tires.
One mistake by any driver can have them watch the rest of the race in the Pitts. You saw that in the practices where a bunch of people spun or went way wide.

Concentration combined with consistency is the key for tomorrows race.

Yes, it was a good race the only draw back was the finish. To bad about the 17 year old rookie with the engine trouble on his Toro roso red Bull.
Mercedes was on point all the way through out the race, but Ferrari kept the pace closely.
Williams needs to pick up the pace to be more competitive.
It will be interesting to see what RED Bull will do about Renault engine issues.
Let's see what the next race next week brings.
I also watch Moto for a few minutes but switched to the Indy race in New Orleans. Lots of accidents do to the wet track conditions.

PS: in the future you can go ahead and post your impressions of the race, since I do not come to the Forum unless I have watched it.

Verstappen engine or transmission demise was epic, it is just a shame it brought out the safety car.  It was Ham's race to lose and he played that car and his tires like a fiddle.  Nicco is getting very frustrated, something is going to happen with him.  Bahrain is where they went toe to toe for all those laps.  Next week should be epic

Yea that sucked and made for a very anticlimactic ending.  Hamilton was perfect the entire weekend.  I actually think he has more competition from Vettel and Ferrari than Rossberg.
What was crazy was how much faster MB and Ferrari were over Williams.   The Williams car has a fast engine but it seems like it can't put the power down as well as the other 4.   If they can get the downforce improved they might be able to press more on race day, but they are crazy consistent and even if they stay as is, will have a solid season.  I think all of the top 6 drivers are showing why they are the top 6.
Raikennan is going to have his day soon.  Just wait

Nico was not happy with Hamilton after last race and made comments about it in the post race interview.
