I thought it was the best race of the year, Vettel beat Bottas into turn one and that was the end of that.  Bottas stayed within 2 seconds all race but couldn't do anything.  Kimi stayed within 2 seconds of Bottas all race as well.  Ham drove his wheels of from starting in the pits to ending up within 5 seconds of Vettel.  If he could have made those soft tires last when he ended up in first...........

Ricardo drove a good race as well, and poor Ocon, first DNF in 29 appearances.  And it wasn't his fault.

I thought the once again retirement of Masa was done very well specially the radio communication with his son.
I was surprise at the Red Bulls not doing as well as in Mexico, it seems their race cars do not do as well on this track.
The Hass team I believe has one more chance to get into a better position if both cars were to finish on the middle of the pack at Dubai.

NBCSN will not be the broadcaster next year, or so I have heard, they are being replaced by ESPN/ABC for 2018.

It's not going to be the same without this broadcast crew.
If the new crew sucks, It could make me give up on watching it.
While I enjoy the racing, their commentary and insight into the sport is a giant part of that.

So was Ferrari even trying or did they call things good enough and leave it at that?  There was like 20 sec between 2nd and 3rd and then 3rd and 4th.

I wasn't a big fan of NBCs coverage for races but I wondered if that was them or the feed they get from F1/FIA.  I will miss the broadcast crew though, I thought they did a good job.

The incident between Hulkenberg and Perez was handled a little weird.  I am not sure why they didn't just tell him to give the place back immediately
Instead, he got penalized for 2 seconds more than the gap.
Didn't seem to phase him though, he ended up back in front of both Perez and Ocon by a significant amount.
