It will be interesting to see what happens because Checo has to know Max is not a team player and it's in Checo's best interest to hose Max whenever possible if he wants a championship.

Checo is crushing it lately,
and in the future, he needs to say :censor:  it and snag those fastest laps.
The battle in Red Bull may be more interesting than the race against the other teams.

Alonso?s success so far this season is most interesting imo, and the team is thrilled to have him versus whiny Vettel and born-with-a golden-spoon (somewhere 😂) Lance. At this point Ricciardo is probably happy to be on the sidelines.

Lance did drive a heck of a race after he had all those injuries.
The problem with Lance is that he is very inconsistent.    At times he is really quick, and others.........Not

Agree, inconsistent is Lance s middle name, and sometimes Bonehead is his first lol. Alonso has, so far, maintained his cool, especially after Lance bumped him in Bahrain.

That was a crazy race. The Ocon Gasly crash was especially nasty.
Aston Martin is looking really good this year.  Alonso keeps on delivering.

I don't totally understand the finish, but I guess it was consistent with a previous race.

As I understand it, the cars have to pass a stage or segment for them to record a position update.  Since the red flag happened before cars made it to the next segment point on the track the restart goes back to the prior restart order.  Which is BS because if you watched practice for this race they red flagged the session because a GPS fault that wasn't giving instant updates on positions.

Wasn't there a pretty big pile up at Imola a few years ago?

Practice 1 (the only practice) was eventful.  Qualifying (it think it was for the race) was interesting with Vestaphen and LeClerk tied for the pole with time for one more attempt, 5th was .1 behind.

Too bad Russel didn't take the opportunity to ask Ver how many drivers he has taken out of an actual race by his aggressive driving over the years?  Karma can be a :censor: .

What is the point of the sprint race now?  If you are not supposed to make changes to the car after qualifying why do they have another quali and then a sprint race that can damage the car?  After repairs how has the car not been changed?

Perez is the King of Streets.
Dude owned this weekend.

And WTF was up with all the people rushing the wall when Ocon still needed to pit.

That was insane.
I thought that one guy was going to get slammed

I agree that this weekend was a cluster ^%$^.  Ocon still had to make his mandatory pit stop, but whom ever is incharge started letting reporters out into pit lane before the race was over.  It was close from our angle but would like to hear what Ocon has to say.

The actual race was a borefest, shortening the DRS on the main strait made passing a lot harder if not impossible for some cars.  Wonder how wet Miami still is, I understand the track flooded with all the rain Florida has had in the last two weeks.
