I just received the Dejon BOV Spring and now I have lost the directions.  Can someone help me out and post how I install it.... Thanks.

Well lets see when I did mine I think you start with letting 2lbs out of the front tires ................. no no wait it 2 lbs from the rear tires.

Do this when the engine is cold.  Remove the 3 #10mm bolts (below the elbow) need to be removed on the pic, then replace the spring.  Make sure you don't loose the diaphram.  Tighten all bolts down evenly.  You will need a universal and some extensions to get to the back one.

The cap is TAN colored....should be easy to spot.  There's a spring inside (of course), so i think it might pop off after the 3rd bolt is out so hold onto it.

Not from my experience.  Just pop out the old spring, put in the new one and bolt it back up.

No, the diaphram is the gasket.  Don't loose it!!!

I did my BOV yesterday.... one tip - if you remove the one bolt holding the power steering res. and shift it off to the front - it makes it a lot easier to get a ratchet in there. I didn't need a universal or any extentions - it was easy.

I'll try and post pics later - but the PS Res. is held by one bolt on the top bracket and the bottom just pops out - then you can move it about 6 inches  - more than enough room to work a med size ratchet on all 3 bolts. Just be careful with the line that runs out the center of the cap.

Last weekend I did two of the BOV spring replacements and found that there is a difference between my 08 GXP and my friends 07 GXP. The difference is that the wiring and some hose work is more in the way on the 07 vs the 08. The 07 took a long extension and a swivel to reach the back and bottom bolt do to the extra material in the way. Most of this stuff was wiring harnesses from under the engine cover and was fastened to brackets and not easy to remove. The 08 install was much easier as all it took was an extension and a 10 mm socket, the wiring had been rerouted unlike the 07. As far as the actual install everything was the same with the replacement of the spring. Both were made easier by removing the power steering reservoir also. This is not to say that the 07 install is difficult but only to point out that it may take a few more tools and patients and maybe a little skin from you hands

Yes they did and both were manual transmissions also. I will have to take a closer look the next time we get together maybe take a picture of each to compare.

I just took the hose off the end of the BOV.  That gave me enough clearance to get the last bolt out.  It is just a spring clip so it was very easy to take off and replace.

When you go to up shift there is a momentary increase in manifold pressure as you come off the gas and drop engine RPM.  The BOV vents this pressure to help keep the turbo from having a compressor stall.  The new spring is supposed to allow you to keep a little bit higher pressure in effect reducing spool up time.
