the company where i bought the wheels from got back to me and offered to give me a compensation for the neutral feedback i gave to them due to the problem i had with the rims (too thick center rings).
they offered to give me a compensation and to send me FOC new center rings.
they requested what the center bore is and after searching a bit on the internet i told them 65.1mm (which they seemed to already know).
is this the correct number for our center bore?

Hey A, am I understanding your using the wheel lugs to keep your wheels on?  Reason I'm asking lugs main job is to just keep the wheel on, wheel hubs help keep the stress off the wheel lugs.  Those start cracking or breaking and it might just a matter of time before it's bye-bye wheel.

reasonable thinking choptop, don't know if it is true, but sounds reasonable... i am currently not driving the GT much, for  a lot of reasons.. my goal is to find the right wheel hubs asap.
thx for the tip!

Have you measured the hub diameter on those rims? There's a bunch of rings on ebay, our hub is 65.1mm http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=hub+centric+rings+65.1&_sacat=0&_odkw=hubcentric+rings+65.1&_osacat=0&_trksid=p3286.c0.m270.l1313
