On the ground yes, but the streets are still clear.  It was coming down pretty heavy at 10am but its slowed down alot now.

He failed to mention the "winter storm watch/advisory", whatever.

I am SO disappointed this party isn't going happen for me. Especially since I just found out there was Big Red Dog that was going to hump my leg as soon as I walked in :(

Leg humping?  I say we go for it!

I'm sad too.  For the record, it was Karen's dad's decision.

Weather ended up not being too bad.  Warm roads ended up more like 7-11 slushies but for Kappas it would not have been an easy drive and there are a lot of trees down in the area.
We had about half the people show up and had a lot of fun.

From VA north, mostly just a dusting, but there was accumulation from PA north.  New England got quite a bit of snow.  Normally in October we are still in short sleeves in the afternoon.

I have it on good authority that this was Dave out shopping for his party. [ Guests cannot view attachments ]

It was less awesome than expected.  I just got back from picking up lunch at McDonald's.  No one working there had any idea who I was!

I thought it was more that they were all teenagers and I was just so old I know who the Hamburglar is.

As it turns out, you're right.  My boss's daughter called from school while I was posting this, and she and her friends are quite familiar with the character.  Thank god, because I was getting seriously depressed.
