FS: NIB EBC Yellowstuff Brake Pads.
« on: December 12, 2011, 09:21:59 PM »
Since I got rid of the car I've got some parts and things to sell. First up is a set of brand-new, never installed EBC yellowstuff brake pads. These would be a great improvement over the stock pads in terms of fade resistance, great for spirited driving or autocrossing.

Front pads: $110 plus shipping.
Rear pads: $90 plus shipping.

The box for one of the sets came apart, the glue failed so I taped it back up. Obviously this doesn't affect the pads, but figured I'd mention it.

Last call, $190 plus shipping. Price is firm, since if I sold them for any less I'd be better off returning them to Summit and paying the 10% restock fee.

Has anyone used these pads? Id like to pick them up but I have only heard reviews on the hawk pads and porterfields.

I have them on for two years now, they are great. The only disadvantage is that they are a little bit rough for our brake disks...

Rough as in they'll wear out the rotors more quickly than some other pads. I bought them for autocrossing, so wear wasn't a concern. Most race pads will be hard on rotors.

Really on the fence here. I think I may need them though :(

I know I have never changed pads and I think they are only the 2nd set on the car, and its approaching 90k. Probably getting close to time for a new set. However the stock rotors are warped pretty good and I need new ones anyway... decisions decisions...

yellow stuff is very good!  I love it!

aggressive pads!  But still good for dd

I used them on my BBK.

so before even purchasing these yellow stuff pads....make sure first if you'll use your stock calipers and stock rotors.

Since they are totally different size pads if you'll be purchasing BBK.
