Ok, any event registrants from here on get a chance to win a gift card $ 1 $40 tour ticket to use on the Biltmore estate. The tour tickets are good from June 16 through June 30.

As part of our group photo Saturday Morning, we have negotiated these tour ticket rates never seen and a never seen concession of the extended admission dates.

BMW and Porsche never got this and no one will likely ever get this as good as us.

I am starting a separate thread for sign up for the Biltmore House and Gardens admission tickets and once the tour tickets are gone there will be no more.

Attention Attendees Coming to Nationals

We are asking for people who are coming in earlier than Wednesday to let us know what day and if you would be interested in runs on Tuesday and Wednesday instead of a Thursday or Friday run.

Also, some of the later registering people, we might have to move your runs to a different day or time but you will still get the runs you have asked for.

Since we have not had any more people step up to RC, this means we are limited on our runs Thursday and Friday, Wednesday we have enough RC and sweeps and have added some Tuesday runs for the earlier arriving people.

You will each have a card with your runs, times and who your Road Captain and Sweeps are at registration.

Either PM, email or post here.

The team thanks you for your help.

PS, don’t forget your Hawaiian clothes for Fridays Luau!!

This is some information for those of you that will be coming into Asheville for the East via I40 West. When you get to the bottom of the mountain in Old Fort NC the speed limit drops from 70 MPH to 55 MPH. DO NOT run any more than about 3 over the posted speed. This area is usually very well patrolled. Also stay in either the center or left hand lane. The right hand lane is for Tractor Trailers and you DO NOT want to get behind one of these going up the mountain.

When you drop off the other side of the mountain headed into Asheville the speed increases back to 65 with it dropping to 60 closer to I240 headed towards the Crowne Plaza. I usually run about 5 over from this point all the way to I240 West.

Also When you reach I240 West the posted speed is again 55 and is the same situation as above. The locals love to sit out and catch folks in this area.

Just some useful heads up information for everyone headed to Asheville for Nationals... We want everyone to be safe and we don't anyone going home with a ticket....

As an update, JPM WILL be attending the meet.  We will not have time for pre-orders but we should be able to take care of just about any request on site.  We will be setting up shop at the event next to DDM for all of your interior needs.  Looking forward to seeing everyone there!
