Welcome to the KappaPerformance forums.

I see from your profile that you have an 06 Solstice. Who's supercharger are you using and what codes are you getting? Are you having drive ability issues or is the car not running at all?

I am guessing you are the customer that we have been talking to and emailing that just installed their supercharger kit in Indiana? If so, we are working on your new ECM to ship to you already as we discussed in the email and phone conversation. Just make sure to not have the key on next time when changing ECM's :) Talk with you soon.

The car runs but runs like crap. Black smoke comes out the exhaust. Getting 2 lights on my dash one is check engine light of course but the other is reduced power light. When i go drive it it sputters and barely goes. Once i get to about 3000 rpms it cuts out and shoots black smoke out. Then sometimes it dies on me.

I may be speaking out of turn, but I would not drive it until the new ECM that was discussed above is installed.  :2c:

You have a P0606 error, which means that your ECM is not working correctly. This can be causing the issue that you are having, like we said on the phone and through emails, we are getting the Dealer to flash an ECM for you and then we will send it up to you as soon as we get it here. Talk with you soon.

Do not drive the car until you get the new ECM, you could do a lot of damage.  Wait for the ECM, it will be worth the wait.

I'm going to guess you have a bad ECM and you should get a new one flashed by a dealer and then get it tuned and then put it in your car.  And when you do, make sure your key is out.  You can even disconnect the battery to be safer.  And don't drive it until you get a new ECM as the current one may be messed up and might mess up the car.

Just my thoughts,

GJ

Just to let everyone know how this worked out - Once we found out the customer had an Trifecta tune, we did get a new ECM from the dealer, flashed it with the supercharger tune and sent it up to the customer and received this email back from the wife this morning -

"Hey Dave, Just wanted to let you know that we got the ECM and it WORKS!!! Its GREAT! THANK YOU for EVERYTHING! sorry for all the hassle!  HAVE A NICE DAY!   thanks again."

Sorry, no video ;)

If anyone here has the part number for the larger throttle body that DDM uses for its stage 3, can you  please post it. Also - if you know if the pin-out is the same or different from the stock TB

Perhaps contacting DDM directly with a DDM question would get you an answer?
