Car...check! Supercharger...check! The skills to install said supercharger into said car with a correctly flashed ECM because you FAILED to tell them there already was a tune on it........................ :idk:

Really GND how the hell was Hellios to know his tires would be wet and that he might lose traction, or that the telephone pole wouldn't get out of his way?  That's just a major fail on your part.

My bad, should have said drove like a granny out of the car wash, slightly tapped the gas, and caused the car to spin, literally go airborne, and slam sideways into a pole totaling your car....

My point is, we all make stupid mistakes that we're not proud of.  Jumping on the bandwagon is just perpetuating the problem....

If I recall I never blamed my mistake on anyone other than I.
I'm not jumping on the band wagon. I'm driving it. I would have said it regardless of what others opinions may be. And my point of view is not to go lambaste a company that has a proven track record for excellence because you left out a major detail that caused something to go wrong.

I drove like an idiot on new tires in a light rain on oil slicked streets, slid the back end around trying to impress a squirrel and hit the guard rail.

So, I'm guilty.

But SA, that doesn't mean I'm not still better than you.  Just remember that.

Make the right choices now

The OP posted here to get help not ridicule...the forum members here should have done the same thing and offered positive suggestions.

Sounds like multiple apologies are in order.

I like how i spend 4 grand on a supercharger and get it installed and the car doesn't even run right its freaking ridiculous. Got a new ECM and put it on (key was out of car when i put ecm back in) and i think the car runs worse then last ecm. Supposedly it was my fault because the key was on when i installed the first ECM. Somethings wrong. I just hope im not getting the run around. I think i know what DDM stands for: Doesn't Do Much   :(

I'd like to know exactly where the OP asked for help in his post? I'd also like to know where on the site did it say we had to offer positive suggestions? Apologies?...Keep waiting...

Since this is written word and not audible, one can't hear subtle intonations and inflections, thus one would have to read it verbatim.  Now, knowing SA and his style of responses, his sarcasm shines right through to me, but apparently not to you.

This (the first sentance) is one point I actually agree with you about, but like I said, stupid mistake.  DDM handled it in an adult manner, and he has apologized for posting showing some maturity and humbleness.  While I claim to have neither of those qualities, at least I freely admit it.

GJ I am humbled by your greatness.

Helios the OP has another thread about this same topic called supercharger problems, I am not surprised that you couldn't see his desire for help after all you completely missed how my comments to GND were actually poking you.  Unless of course you actually expect your tires to be dry after leaving a car wash or that telephone poles will move out of your way.

Oh and if you look at my post which is on this site, in fact you quoted it, it says "...offer positive suggestions."  Just thought you would like to know where it said such a thing.

"Morally flexible". The definition to that is also implied.
Secondly, DDM is running a business and should be catering to their customers. I, however, am not.

Well, I guess we're the same in at least one respect.

No, it's pretty much straight forward in its meaning....

I have morals.  They are flexible.

He may have wanted help in his original thread, but this thread was no such thing. He started this thread to vent frustration and/ or take a swipe at DDM/ DDM products. I and a few others called him on it. It's funny how I'm the one that got dog piled on, but you know...whatever makes you happy.

Yeah, but I'd say you're dog piling him despite the GJ poking. It's pretty tame IMO. What is up? Testosterone overload in here or what?  Where is Shiny when you need her? :idk:

Ok so I have a legit question here...so the guy has the trifecta tune on the original ECM when the Supercharger was installed. But Dave sent him a new ECM and that ECM would not have the tune, correct? So to me, the trifecta tune is no longer in play with the new ECM. Correct? Or do our cars still carry some residual info from the trifecta tune despite a newly flashed ECM with a different tune?

My guess is ddm read his original ecm with hptuners and just had the file on their computer. Thinking something was bad with the ecm itself and not the software on it, they just got a new ecm, flashed it with the original file and sent it on its way.
