JimElvis is selling one. He's a member here but he posted in a thread over in the Sky forums on the 5th that he had an RPI system that he took off his wife's car.

Might be worth a look.

There really weren't a lot sold compared to Solo systems so the chance that someone has a system to sell are slim. Might have to wait for a while for one to come up.

Patience grasshopper...     :D

Yeah wouldn't hurt to give it a bump once in a while to remind everyone you're looking for one. I can tell from the log that a lot of people have read the thread just that there aren't any available at the moment unfortunately.

Well ,GJ....I dont know if I am 100% but ireally like the look, fit, and finish on these units. Plus I really didn't want to go with quad tips unless I absolutely had to. Ive never really seen a solo unit up close, and trying to avoid Magnaflow because of the aformentioned quads.I know it's going to be like :banghead:but hope springs eternal....

Does Solo do a twin (non-center) muffler design like RPI's - other than the street race of course?  I'm also thinking of this so I could drop the center floor of the trunk for more space.

(I know, I know, I could ask Solo directly, but that would involve effort...)

I'm sure that Solo has the Sky system available with tips other than the quad ones. I believe that it originally shipped with different tips.

Certainly can't go wrong with Solo. Their systems are top notch and I can tell you that their service is out of this world. You'll be selling yourself short if you don't consider their system.

The Solo systems are available with any of these tips. Contact them to see which one would replace the quad tips.

Our Solo kits come with either the quad round, or a rectangular style tip similar to stock but a bit beefier:)  Our kits only need the one mid muffler because of how the muffler is internally designed.

RPI is dead, so IMO i would go with solo. Their products are great and their customer service is awesome. And they offer the "stock" square tips. See their exhaust tip section: http://solo-performance.com/exhaust-tips

(Image removed from quote.)

RPi is not dead. Eloy, helped me out with my GT exhaust around 2 months ago. However, I thought they discontinued making the GT exhaust and GTS tips partly due to "imitation" GT exhaust systems both here and abroad selling for less. However, I see that RPi's exhausts are still for sale on their website.
I can understand where Cali-D is coming from. I absolutely fell in love with the GT exhaust when I first saw and heard it. Seeing how it might be impossible to get one, Solo may be your next best bet. Although, I see PCP Racing's exhaust is almost identical to the RPi GT exhaust. Dunno what material PCP is using for their exhaust (doesn't look like T304) nor who is doing the welds. I'll leave it at that.

Fully agree on the quad tips, do you think there'd be any adverse changes hacking off the two extra pipes?

as long as your tips are larger diameter than the exhaust pipes bottle neck, you should have no issue

Which exhaust are you talikng about? Either way, RPi or PCPs exhaust will not be adversely affected if you lop off one tip, IMO. The "Y" happens right at the end of the exhaust. Therefore, either single or dual tips become much more of a cosmetic thing than a functional one.

Very good! Just worried it would have some effect I wasn't seeing.  I have RPi's GT for the Sky.  I always wanted their GT Solstice setup  but picked this up off the sky forum for a great deal and didn't feel like spending another couple hundred for the pipes and tips.  IIRC Werks took over rights to sell it.
