2nd Gear Synchro bad??

so i was on my way home from work and just all a sudden couldent seam to get the car in 2nd without grinding. afterrelizing that it only did it in 2nd and once its in it stays in no problem i think its the 2nd Gear Synchro. anone on here ever have that issue? also anyone ever replace them if so how involved is it?

i had the same issue a couple of years ago.

But I still drove my car and just skip the 2nd gear.  I go from 1st to 3rd gear for about a month.   Then the 3rd gear started grinding as well..

We opened up the tranny, and discovered lots of metal shavings when we drained the oil.   

I ended up buying a new tranny.

he will try those stronger Carbon Fiber lined synchros from AR5 hummer H3


not really sure if it will be compatible tho.......

ahh ok was it just the syncro gears bad when you got into there? im debating on weather to buy a new one swap them then fix the old one and sell it or tear it out and fix it all toghter

also has anyone gotten a warranty on something like this even after a supercharger add on? id think they might do it as i dont belive extra power would cause it to fail
