I want to at least build up the top half of the engine before I attempt that
Im thinking cams, make sure I get the one piece lifters, new valve springs and the proper seals.

I'm real curious to see how 40rty does with his 2871 E47 setup.

I bet he runs out of fuel before the 2871 is out of huff (assuming his intercooler and piping are adequate) I'm seeing 30+psi in his future.

I think the tuning can make sure that doesn't happen

tuning cant control his fuel restriction or injection window being too short. However a good tuner can go a lot futher than an average tuner.

It should put down about 500 or so on a dynojet would be my guess

Same here. Roads and more importantly WEATHER are great here.

So, who cares if I can only get crap gas!

Tazz-E47 scares me.  I'm too fast for the local police already.

Too fast for these guys!
(Attachment Link)

Not to get off topic, but they were doing the filming for the beginning of the pilot of CHIPS by my great uncle's house in CA when I was very, very, very young.  Anyway, somehow my dad and I wandered on the set.  I don't really remember this, but according to my dad, they were filming some of the motorcycle shots going down the freeway which hadn't been opened yet.  I think we got yelled at and made a quick exit!

My dad could tell you if these guys were fast or not.  I can't remember much about it!

A Motorola radio is not fast in and of itself.  Actually, I'm not sure it even has the power to move itself.  So, in some respects, even Kelu's car is faster than a Motorola radio.

Plus, no cops even know what kind of car the solstice is.  One time I was being chased I heard the cop say on the radio he was chasing a late model blue Porsche.  Another time, a cop said he was chasing a karman ghia with a body kit.  I got away both times.

Either that or the cops actually were chasing those cars and you only thought they were after you.

I guess a plane flying faster then mach 1 would also be faster then a Motorola transmission.  GJ see how I fixed that because as you pointed out a Motorola radio is actually only about as fast as Miller or Sky888's cars right now.  Which means a lot of things are faster then a Motorola, I guess someone was wrong. :o

Except maybe the decision to go another direction than where the radio call went. Wait, that's probably more luck than speed...

Are you confusing the speed of light with the speed of sound?   :idk:
