Nice, hopefully it's accurate and it continues on.  It's definitely a valuable entity and can help a lot of people in this country by doing well.

I wonder how much of that will be used to repay the U.S. tax payer?

I thought GM paid back everything they were responsible for. Now I"m not saying they paid back 100% what they were given, but that they were responsible for $X and paid $X back.

If it was really socialism it wouldn't even be a question... but it's really not and it probably won't happen.

That's what I remembered also, but I did a quick google search. Says they repaid the loan with what?? Of course another taxpayer loan. I didn't dig any deeper to see if the next loan has been repaid.

Ahhh....sneaky bastards.....LOL. All I remember hearing was how awesome it was that GM repaid the loans and really. If they really did use another Federal loan, then they really snuck one by most people. Can't blame them for trying and it seemed to work for the most part.

It's all smoke and mirrors anymore...Sometimes I wished we could hit the reset button. Or at least the "Easy Button".

They still owe the taxpayer something on the order of 14 BILLION.

No less sneaky than making people think the unemployent rate dropped to 8.1%! Again smoke and mirrors. Or inflation is near zero. Of course since food and fuel or not factored into inflation calculations anymore....you guessed it. Smoke and mirrors.

I love the fact that the two most essential items to daily living are not factored in to inflation rates.  Who cares about food or fuel prices anyway?

Well with so many people that are unemployed it's not like they can afford to eat and they don't have to drive to work so there really is no reason to include those two items in the equation.
