One answer is having the rear wheels widened and running 275's

Elff it's called driving like you have a raw egg between your foot and the gas pedal.  Ask Joey he drove Wade's car.

(Image removed from quote.)

Wade, the profile with your Dyno lists Goodyear OEM 245s, are you running a staggered setup or 245s all the way around?

I went to a 275 width rear tire because I was spinning like crazy with just the 2871 and 245s.

when he did the dyno he had the 245's on.  He has since sent out his wheels to have them widened for the 275's, which what he is running now.

aaaaaa
That makes sense.  I'd be curious to see another Dyno with the 275s on to see how much of a difference they make compared to the 245s

Hey guys, sorry that I have been slacking. I've been going out to sea and finished the Sky's Injector seal(Viton) install last weekend. Internet use out to sea is 50/50. Luckily for this underway we have it. Alright, THANK YOU DAVE and others for being the first V8's to contribute. I will update the first post. The more info the better for info we can provide for those new to the platform. Mr. Hahn waiting on you my friend. Dave from Werks???

Haze not Haxe.  Tell me about it, I was on an Ocean going tugboat stationed in Hawaii, we spent most of our time either pulling sleds for torpedo practice or deployed to Alaska for SAR duty.
An Oiler also out of Hawaii, that spent most of it's time in the South China Sea.  Great liberty ports but expensive when you only spent 10-15 days on the line and then 5 in some exotic port.
A fast combat stores ship out of Japan, same scenerio as the oiler, 10-15 days on line, 5 days in a liberty port and 20 days in Sasabo.  Though life but someone had to do it.
My final tour was on a Reserve Minesweeper.  Those reserve ships never get underway.  3 years 36,000 miles @ 10 knots, a Med, North Atlantic, 4 Carribbean, and a Central America later....

Now Joe here was a carrier boy, you know the guys that do 110 days at sea rotations  :poke:

Thank you for keeping me safe to enjoy my Kappa.

I was stationed in Hawaii myself(This is my second command). Wow, I see that you did lots of sea time. Well, your retirement is well deserved. I'm an FC and I'm stuck on small boys. Have done several WestPac's but nothing else really. Have been part of the Navy's BMD program. My second command is on yet another cruiser based out of San Diego. Your welcome btw, enjoy.
