Ah, you think I am kidding, well no, we can always dream...I already am living my dream by being able to drive our  early build 2007 Pontiac Solstice GXP and prior to that our Victory Red 1995 Pontiac Firebird Forumula with the big V8 engine!  So lets see...what is your dream?

First, to get back to the title of the thread above...if you subscribe to Automobile magazine there is an article written by Jason Cammisa entitled "Ultimate Fantasies, Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, the intersection of fantasy and reality" beginning on page 40.  First, it is a very interesting article and second, the Ferrari from the side has styling that mimics our 2007 Pontiac Solstice GXP and third a vacation to Itally might indeed be a blast!

Now, to get your interest up... a few stats...

2013 Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, BASE PRICE $330,000 (est)

ENGINE, 48-valve DOHC V-12

Displacement, 6.3 liters (382 cu in)

POWER, 731 hp@8250 rpm

TORQUE, 509 lb-ft@ 6000 rpm

TRANSMISSION, 7-speed automatic

DRIVE, Rear-wheel

CHASIS STEERING, Hydraulically assisted

SUSPENSION, FRONT, Control arms, coil springs

SUSPENSION, REAR, Multilink, coil springs

BRAKES, Vented carbon-ceramic disc, ABS

TIRES, Michelin Pilot Super Sport

TIRE SIZE F,R, 255/35YR-20, 315/35YR-20

MEASUREMENTS L x W x H
181.8 x 76.5 x 50.1 in

WHEELBASE 107.1 in

TRACK F/R 65.6/63.7 in

WEIGHT 3594 lb

FUEL MILEAGE 13/18 mpg (est)

0-62 MPH 3.1 sec

TOP SPEED 211 mph

Now, I was impressed and the similarities are fun to check out, uh the cover of the magazine shows it and at first my quick look caught me off guard, I mistook it for our 2007 Pontiac Solstice GXP.  Oh, my goodness we are so blessed to be
able to drive our Kappa's every day that looks and feels like a FERRARI!

Bring it!!! :usa:

Mine would be:

1. Gas 25 cents a gallon.
2. Classic cars begin selling at same price as they were when first sold.
3. Cure for baldness & prime age pills for $9.99.

(Image removed from quote.)

But get a copy of the November 2012 Automobile magazine, it's pictured on the cover and truly from the rear of the car to the front, the angle of the photo shot and even to tires and rims and the side mirrors it is a clone!  Now, the top slant is different I agree.

Check out Jaguar's F type (vert and upcoming coupe).  But is there's really such thing a thing as a modern body silhouette that can't be considered a derivative of something else?
