fs: KW Variant 3

SOLD

I am selling my used KW Variant 3 coilovers.

There are a few issues with them.  The bump stops are missing.  The set screws for the perches are missing.  One of the rear lower perches has a stripped notch, but you can still adjust it.  Otherwise they work like they should.  There are no leaks.

$300 + shipping

I also have a set of 340 in/lb(6 kg/mm) KW springs.  I used them with the kit.

$50 + shipping

This is the perch damage

This is how the car sat with the 6k springs.

How many miles on them?  Track time?  How do the threads look for the other (missing) set screws in those perches?  What part of the country (or canada?) was the car in?  Ever see snow/salt?  Did you buy them new or used?

I am not sure exactly how many miles are on them.  My best guess would be about 30'000 mi.  They have quite a few autocross runs on them, about 50-100.  The only time I drove in snow with them was once when I was in Kansas.  They rarely put salt on the roads there.  The threads for the set screws look good.

To answer your pm here:
The adjusters all work smoothly.
I used the bump stops on my new suspension, custom valved Knoi yellows with 8k Eibachs.
You can get replacement parts from KW http://www.kw-suspension.com/us/kw_spareparts_and_accessories.php.

Yep, found the spare parts page.  Sent them an e-mail.  Pending their answer, I'll probably go for these (unless new perches and bump stops are prohibitively expensive or unavailable)
