Everyone knows I will always love V8s, however I'd settle for the upcoming rumored TTV6.

In all fairness it was not a contested race. Something went wrong with the mustang at launch. Not defending the V8 just saying it didn't run what it is capable of.

But... DAMN! that 4 banger was fast!
08 Brazen GXP.  GMPP tune + new IC!, Magnaflow exhaust, DDM backbone and brace, rear Z0K sway bar, Eiback springs, debadged (mostly) and dechromed(mostly), black door handles, Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110 on 19" MODA1 wheels, color matching boomerang.

Thats not really that fast   I ran a quarter mile once. If you did some CG work and played it in FF like they did, id look fast too.

Besides, how is that even a fair race? The Mustang ran 11's. if Kelu could only race on a real drag strip his car would run 11's. heck, when he us done building his new car, it will be much faster than that.

Someone made a comment about 700 pounds. Im surprised its that close.

Me, for one. Rather have an interesting high tech engine than another boring V8

Geez, there are even people tearing out the LNF engine to shove in an old style Chev V8 with a carb on it!  Dinosaurs.

I would like it better if it was the new Cadillac ATS motor (LTG) 272/260.
Is to bad Pontiac went away since probably the 2012 Solstice would have end up with that engine.

In the november 2013 issue of Grassroots Motorsports Magazine on page 66 there is a full page add from 999 Motor Sports USA for a GT race car they are building. It's a ground up clean sheet car and they have chosen the GM Ecotec 2.0L turbocharged LNF to power it.
How about that race fans.
