WERKSracing 2012 Nasa Race season Recap and Sponsor Thank you!
« on: November 14, 2012, 01:36:18 PM »
Well for those of you who did not follow us throught the WERKSracing 2012 Nasa Race season we had an absolutely stellar year!!!

8 wins
2 seconds
1 3rd place
1 4th place
3 Track Records
NASA TTB Midwest Division Season Championship
NASA TTB Midwest Division Most Improved Driver Award

I improved throughout the year as a driver and the car/chassis setup improved throughout the year tremendously as well so the lap times kept improving.  This showed during second to last event of the year at the Autobahn CC in Joliet, IL where we ran times faster than the TTA cars!  We didnt have a single mechanical failure other than popping off an intercooler hose once or twice and a power steering pump that finally started to make some noise at the last event of of the year.

With that I wanted to say a big thanks to those who have helped us out thsi season as well as over the last couple years developing, sponsoring and setting up the car.

Congrats!  Could you give a short list of mods by chance?  What changes to the car and chassis did you find to make the most difference?

You might want to add DDM's T-bolt clamps to your intercooler ducting. :poke:

That's cute :)  We already use our own T-bolt clamps and they work pretty well, its usually the couplers that start to degrade and then the clamps pop off.  30 minutes of on track wide open throttle running in 90+ degree heat can do wacky things....
