sawzall works best!

Use a heat gun and push them out. They are just body taped/glued into the hood. a little heat and a push from the bottom side should get them out.

As far as I know the hood vents can't be removed without breaking them.

Had to remove one. only way is a little heat &  a good hard push.from the backside. Be careful to not damage the area around the opening. D40 may help but will make a mess. You may need new retainer plugs for the hood blanket as they damage easy. Also there  are 3 nuts to remove . it is very easy to snap off the plastic nut retainer pins.

They make a panel popper to remove the retainers off the hood pins to get to the back of the hood .

For the record.
Open the hood, remove the underhood blanket push pins and the blanket.
Each vent has two round clips that secure it in place. Remove these. Be carefull they are easy to brake.
Once you have them removed, close the hood.
Mask tape around the vents.
Stick a cutter between the hood and the vent and slide it around the vent to cut the glue tape.
Carefully use a screwdriver to push it off.
I am having some custom ones made soon

I wouldn't take a cutter anywhere near my hood. When I took mine off I used some fishing line.

Heating them up sounds like a good idea too so maybe heating them up and using fishing line would work pretty good
