Topic: Turbo LE5 Vacuum Line Routing Help

So I'm really hoping to finish the bulk of my turbo install today and I just have a question for those of you that are familiar with turbos installs. How should I route the vacuum lines between the waste gate(has two ports), the manual boost controller, the BOV, and the turbo itself? Pretty sure the boost gauge can just be connected to any manifold vacuum line, right? Any help would be greatly appreciated, especially diagrams :thumbup: thanks in advance.

Hahn Racecraft tapped into the brake vacuum and I had a boost guage attached to that area. The boost controller should attached near the turbo.

If you hookup your boost gage line before the throttle body you will see a boost reading even at idle, all be it a low reading, maybe 2 to 4 lbs. If you hookup your boost gage line after the throttle body ( somewhere off the intake manifold) you will get a more accurate reading of the boost going into the engine. This is what I have found anyway.
Under no circumstance would I connect to the power brake system in any way, shape or fashion. If for some unforseen reason your boost line failed it could be disasterous when you loose your brakeing power. Run a T fitting off one of the other vacumn/pressure hoses on the intake manifold.
