This looks really temping. I'd have to drive down from canada to get done... But looks good. A few questions...

Is this the total cost? Or + taxes?
What's the turn around time?
What happens to the original engine? Is it a trade in deal?

Thanks

is the cruise control issue only related to certain years.  I've heard that the 2007 GXP/Redline didn't have this problem.

That is about the only year we have had success with the cruise working.  We think we have it figured out and will be testing it out on a vehicle we have here over the next 2 weeks.

No taxes if you are out of Illinois resident :)
Turn arond is approx. 4-6 weeks
We keep the original parts from the car, we charge a core charge if you want to keep them.  To this date we have only had 1 customer actually keep their parts if that tells you anything ;)

Thanks. I won't want the parts either. I was just curious. So I'd have to drive it down then find my way back :) then come back to pick it up.

Yes more or less, we can drop you off at either O'Hare or Midway airports.

You mean you don't have a V8 loaner for the customer to get used to the new power while you are building theirs?  :)  ;)  ;)

So whats the difference between this package and other V8 packages that makes it so much more affordable?

Ask if there is a layaway option that will lock in the price?

There is no mention of a transmission...does this keep the stock transmission?

I think I saw somewhere it includes a transmission, but I'll wait for werks to comment.

Btw,  just checked out the Spanish solstice again. The v8 spider, they are using the L3 as well. So power wise you may be getting the same deal. Something I noted, I checked there spec list for this 125k remake, it's like they lurked here and at the other solstice forum and took notes. Everything was already done by "us". Solstice owners including the all leather interiors, suspension remake (lowered), etc.

The body work is nice and it would be nice if norm made the front and back.

But back on topic, the new L3 package is a great opportunity. I plan/ hope to do it myself.

It's probably cheaper to just replace them.

Only with the same stock options, which is not what is being talked about or asked.

True, the only way that I know to re valve a shock it to open it up and most shocks are not rebuildable these days so that would be quite the task.

It looks like the difference between this kit and the one just above it for $19,999 is the T56

Damn,
finding a place that would revalve the FE3's would have been awesome!

What may increase interest is a WERKSracing V8 video (already checked YT).

I split this thread.  This is a vendor sale thread, please leave your comments on the remaining thread if you don't wish to know more about this engine or package.

I live in LA and have no idea what this "cruise control" is of which you speak?

 :kwh:

Really? I used to use it early in the morn to cruise at 85 out to the strip in Fontana...
