Actually quite a few more differences! But it will be a nice car nonetheless!
08 Brazen GXP.  GMPP tune + new IC!, Magnaflow exhaust, DDM backbone and brace, rear Z0K sway bar, Eiback springs, debadged (mostly) and dechromed(mostly), black door handles, Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110 on 19" MODA1 wheels, color matching boomerang.

I wonder what track it was faster than the ZL1 on?

Because if that holds at VIR that would put the Z28 ahead of a Lexus LFA. Impressive indeed. You could probably buy 5 Z28's and have money left over!

Found it. It was the GM Milford track...

GM tested the Z28,C7, and a few chevy SS at VIR a few months ago, and tested the ZL1 there before so my guess is 3 seconds faster around VIR full course 3.27 miles. GM loves the place they're there so many times during the year. Maybe thats because the put up half the money for the tire research center.
