Lowering Rear Suspension ONLY
« on: March 28, 2013, 08:26:42 PM »
I'd like to eventually lower the the rear to take some gap out of the rear wheel wells. Hopefully have it matched it up with the front. Don't want to lower the front because stock height is plenty low for me. Does anyone have any experience/tips to accomplish this? If not I'll probably bite the bullet and get some kappasprings.

Even if you get springs you're still going to want to lower the front because once everything settles it will not sit right. I went with B&G 1.75" drop springs and the only piece that ever scrapes is the plastic air deflector when backing out of the driveway.

And make sure the rear springs have the proper spring rate.
Some are softer than the fronts which will allow the muffle to hit at times

GXP ZoK springs are the best set up you can find.

Wondering how the steering is going to be effected with lowering the rears.

In the autocrooss events with factory Bilsteins the car tends to be tight into the corner and pushes through it if there is to much speed.
Enjoying the open ride.

Eh just chop a coil out of the stock springs.  Stiffer rear springs will take care of some of the stock understeer as well :)
