The car runs great Steve. It's hard to understand the potential that this little engine has without experiencing it first hand.

I have sent three logs to Lyndon and with everyone Lyndon immediately sends back an updated tune to fine tune things. Other than the issue with the P0106 early on that Lyndon fixed early on with the next tune I haven't had any issues. I'm glad I didn't just send him my ECM to program as I would have missed out on the fine tuning and risked damage to the engine. I suppose anytime you tune outside of the factory parameters for the engine you risk damage but with a canned tune there's just too much risk. That's a chance I wasn't willing to take.

As I said, I can't believe the difference this has made. Remember that my car is an auto with upgraded (Michelin Pilot Super Sport) tires. I can now cruise at 40 miles an hour and wag the tail as I hit the throttle to get around something. It's an eye opening experience and one that makes you sit up and take notice. No day dreaming any longer when driving the beast.

Hopefully I don't have to change the rubber any time soon as I haven't had these tires long and yeah, it's not only fun, it's a religious experience!    :brnout:

I sent Lyndon another log last night, We'll see what he comes up with this morning when he gets up. You guys out west like to sleep in.   :poke:

You did the best choice going with Lyndon, I miss him as tuner since I installed a bigger turbo which requires custom dyno/street tune.

I still talk with him after 4 years but all I can do is to install his tunes to local Corvettes :(

Anyone interested in a full turbo kit tested and fine tuned?  :D

Melanie, how's the tuning going?
Tune loaded, took him out where I could open it up, hit the magic 25, first thing noticed is he is smoother, from the first start. Even the Solo exhaust sounded a bit mellower. Didn't break the tires loose, but then I didn't get the race tune, either that or the brand new Falkens stuck better than I'd seen so far. More play tomorrow on the way to work...may have to leave an hour earlier  :D

Race tune?  Does Lyndon offer different tune levels?

There is a "custom tune" and a "race tune". I got the "race tune" on my car.

What is the difference?  In the custom tune does he not push as hard?

Bob-
Contrary to popular opinion, the stickers do not add any horsepower.  They actually make the car slower.
They should only be installed in the toolbox in the garage. :)
