It never occurred to me that the organizers never posted the event on this board.  http://nassm2015.com/

Oh well . . . . :(   :banghead:   :idk:

Last year at the Poconos event I was prevented from attending due to health issues. I SO hope that before long there is another national event in this neck of the woods that I'm able to attend.
Just trying to do my part...

Sly Bob, it looks like 2016 will be in Arkansas, Lake of the Ozarks. Hopefully that is close enough.  :drive:

2016 will be here:  The Holiday Inn & Convention Center – Northwest Arkansas, 1500 South 48th Street, Springdale, Arkansas 72762

The info and web site will go live sometime after the 2015 event ends.

Some of us have been working on a group for 2017 that is closer to home for you SB.  They want to do it in 2018 though as there are some logistical issues with location.  They are doing test of concept later this month.

Otherwise, I don't know who else will step up for 2017.  Someone mentioned Canada, but last time you all stepped up to put on a nice event, there was a very public outlash over it.  I'm afraid it has scared everyone off.  :(

William Biddlecome was trying to get us in Ohio to do it again, but we gave him an immediate no.  No, no, no way, no how, no.  But we are more than happy to help out!

So you're saying there's a chance Ohio will do it again?

Just wondering who are you to tell someone that they can't stage an event in Ohio if they so choose .For the record I live in Ohio and would love to see the NASSM here at some point  as I'm sure other owners who live in the area would agree , if you look at the statistics the Canton Ohio meet had the most cars and people in attendance .   As for Pontiac I go to the Woodward Dream Cruise and there is strong support in Pontiac for anything made by Pontiac I personally think it would be great place to have this event and pump some life into an area that has seen better times . Just the opinion of one Solstice owner not a member of any "club" .

How about we leave this thread for the Anuual Meet Statistics, and lets discuss future meets in a new thread or somewhere else.

Thanks.

MomsSol and Sooner both mentioned that on Facebook or one of the forums, I forget which, but it really is an impressive number.  Their charity AAROC participated in the meet for the entire week.

Way to be a buzzkill, DaveOC  :poke:

They're still selling posters and giving those proceeds to charity.  I didn't make the meet, but saw the "Kappa Backsides" poster on FB and picked one up.  There's still a chance that charity figure could recover some  :pop:

Yes sir, i think that original number was bothering Sooner, and he was concerned that it wasn't quite correct, so he asked me to revise it.  I look at those numbers as estimates anyway, and no one is holding the organizers accountable for every last buck.

Ballpark is good enough for me. I consider us lucky to have numbers for every one of the events so far.

Thanks for your concern.
