NASSM Meet Statistics update
« on: July 01, 2013, 02:54:10 PM »
I think it's time for an update from our friends in Flagstaff.

Note: (I received some unofficial numbers from RTE on the Solsticeforum)

I thought it might be advantageous to put all this info from different posts and threads into one place, and I managed to get the info from Asheville which I had not seen previously published anywhere.

Attend the 2014 NASSM in the Poconos! I'm sure they will have something in terms of what charity they will be supporting.

 I'm not actually in charge of charities, but I have been kindly asked to oversee the fundraising efforts of NASSM 2014.
We have a few ideas in mind but I'm always open to suggestions :)

P.S. Donations of prizes of any kind are appreciated. Maybe you have season tickets to something and you're willing to give up one game. Maybe you have gift cards you won't be using? Send them my way, we'll make sure they go to good use!

Our fund raising efforts are going toward those who are afflicted with ALS. We have a longtime MASSC member who's sister-in-law suffered from the disease and he's recently lost his father-in-law to it. Karen also has been closely impacted by it and I just can't imagine what is must be like.

Whatever we can do we will do but I have to say that I personally am not into trying to beat a previous NASSM record but if Shiny wants to, that would be awesome!

Yeah, who cares. Lets just go party. Any money we raise for charity would be better spent on beer.

Just kidding!!!!!

I will offer up the first fund raising opportunity:

I will donate two hours of my time working on a Kappa at Nationals (assuming I live long enough to be there) to the first person who pledges $100 to Kappa -ALS fund raising efforts.

Are you INSANE?  You should pay him the $100 NOT to work on your car!

Sold.  Make sure you bring something extra slutty to wear.

Anyone want tickets to watch a two hour sexy car wash?  $5 a head, all funds go to ALS (on top of my $100).

Do you still have the pictures of Kelu when you made him work for his keep while he was here?

Finding that took forever!  We should've just asked Arabas- I'm sure it's saved in his favorites.
