I want to give my first impressions of the GoodYear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2.
So I'm driving with these tires for 1,5 weeks and I'm really happy with them.  :D
From the day I got my car I had Bridgestone Potenza Asymmetric tires and always had a problem with low traction, didn't matter if the sun was shining or the road had been wet.

So in the moment it's dry and the car literally sticks on the road, it really needs a lot of speed while driving through a bend to get a "low traction".
I'll test the tires in rain if we get some.
In addition to that I really like how the GoodYear looks on a Saturn Sky.

Feel free to post any comments or your impressions with the Eagle F1. :D

That was the issue I had with the stock tires, traction in the wet. It's great you found a solution that works for you. My Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires are the best tire that I have ever driven but haven't driven a lot of different brands and I've not driven the GoodYear Eagle F1 Asemetric2. Still happy with the Michelins now that I've had them for a while.

Inspired by Sly Bob?   :D
Just trying to do my part...

They dont list a stock size for the asymmetrics on tire rack. What size are you running?

I ran the stock GXP tires on my car 2 sets of tires ago and I knew they were F1 GS-2's.  A quick Google search and tah dah

Here is my tire (my dealer's homepage) sorry everything is in German, but I think the picture is the most important thing.

Sorry changed my reply, didn't notice that these tires are sold by Amazon in the USA, so standards for tires are the same in Europe and the USA. :D

Sometimes I'm so stupid. :banghead:

No, never!
I'm only driving my car in spring, summer and a part of fall.
I've rented a heated garage for every winter.

This year I will rent a used car from my GM dealer, that's much cheaper than buying one for winter.

We have the original Goodyear Eagle F'1's on Miss Red Eagle and with 22,029 on the odometer...most, two and from regional and national meet's, but there is still plenty of tread left and I am guessing that it would not be presumptuous for Carol and I to rip off another 22,000 on the original F1's!  Actually that is not to bad, but when these tires go, will look at the GY Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2's.  Thanks for the thread Ironhide!
