That's interesting. I drove one and loved it. I don't tend to care much about interiors. The seating position the seats themselves and the steering wheel felt great. The FRS interior is more plain which I actually prefer but again I just don't care.

I haven't heard about reliability problems. Anything in particular that's been reported?

High Pressure Fuel Pump noise issues, transmission rattle issues, ECM reprogramming issues, tail light condensation, and the list goes on.  The problems all seem to have one thing in common, Subaru/Toyota doesn't appear to be fixing them.  Who knows?  It may just be typical forum behavior where the faults get elevated in status while no one reports the good ones.   :idk:

Not sure if the boxer motor is the same as the new turbo sti motors, but they have a piston clearance issue which makes them prone to catastrophically fail. Granted this is the turbo motor and I believe the FRS has the NA boxer. They engineered the motors to have a clearance of half a thou. (0.0005") which has been the demise of "cylinder 4" for several of my subi friends. This was done to make the motors pass the strict emissions standards of some countries. All Subaru pals have since switched over to Evo X's due to the 100% stock Subaru boxer motor failing. Two failed at under 20k miles (with light mods and a tune) and the one guy blew the replacement motor under 5k of the motor change with 100% stock parts (no tune or mods).

That knowledge combined with the items TS and Dave mentioned on the interior and exterior, I would steer clear of those.

They do look neat though!

I haven't been on there today.
Someone just got a freaking sweet car that still has room to upgrade.

Hi guys. The Sky sold a while ago just forgot to mention it. The guy who bought it is located in the Denver Colorado area and is a racing fan. He has a C7 vette but tires and brakes were too expensive to keep on the track, and also it was an auto and he didn't like it on the track.

So he bought the Sky as a track car, so mine was perfect for him. Got a good price and he's very happy. I told him about the forum so he may have joined up.

We got the BRZ in the fall and have been very happy with it. So far two complaints:

1) I don't think there's an LSD or it's not that great because if I turn from a stop sign, there's a bit of a vibration in the back. Never experienced this on any other car before.

2) Automatic trans shifts too slow, but I didn't have high expectations.
