I think GM Tech wrote a good analysis on another solstice forum on the werks part.  I have it and may install it at the MD MM next week.  It will go on with the Probeam.  GMTech raved about it and my impression was that like the probeam it firms up the suspension in a way that complements the probeam and is not a duplicative part.

The WERKS piece is more for someone that races the car, otherwise the ProBeam is the way to go since it duplicates the ZOK piece.

I have the Werks rear frame brace on my Redline. I also have the backbone from Werks. I don't race but let me tell you that car makes you want to look for where you can get it into turning corners. I don't know anything about the Probeam but I'll say it will have to be something special to duplicate what I feel with the Werks rear frame brace. Your call in the end but do more digging before YOU decide which way to go....
I always wanted to be somebody when I grew up - I realize now that I should have been more specific!!

That's the first I've heard you can use both?

Reason I'm asking is Werks is currently running a sale on the BB.  Rear frame brace, tunnel brace, and Werks engine brace for  $499.  Savings of about $75 bucks.  Tempted to order for the 06.

Our GXP already has DDM probeam, tunnel brace

I've got an 09 GXP with the DDM Backbone and Probeam. Ran that set-up for about two years and liked it. Added the ZOK rear sway bar and saw another marked improvement. Added the LV brace for overkill, definitely stiffened the ride a little more. Car corners like it's on rails, but it does ride rougher than stock. For me, it's been a good trade off since the mods drastically improved the overall handling, weren't difficult to self-install, and didn't cost that much. :2c:

What you need to understand is that their front brace requires professional installation.
Also unless you are racing their rear brace will not perform any better than the ProBeam or the OEM ZOK brace.
