I know there are countless threads on these clutches and I've read and re-read almost all of them.  I know they can be chattery and that they change a bit during break-in but I don't recall anyone specifically talking about noise while just rolling.

Setup: SPEC 3+ installed with a machined stock flywheel due to the complaints over the increased noise and vibration with their lightweight flywheel.

Engagement was fairly high (mid-range of the pedal travel) from day one compared to practically every thread and hasn't changed much since crossing 500 miles. The fast catch was definitely interesting to get used to but no where near as bad as I expected from an unsprung setup.

The only thing I noticed weird was that with the clutch engaged and just coasting I can hear/feel quite a bit of rotational clunking.  This goes away under acceleration or with the clutch disengaged.  Is this the vibration that's considered normal with these?

If you're hearing load transfer off the rear diff, it could be the diff mount front bushing making the clunk?

It's a pretty continuous noise as it decelerates and more noticeable if starting from a higher RPM.  Thanks guys, I'll swing back up there when I can get a few.

A few questions. Is your car lat 07 or later? If so you have a torque arm so the only bushings are the 2 rear ones on the diff and the 2 engine mounts up front. Also does the noise you have does it increase/decrease with rpm change? Also how does it feel in neutral clutch engaged and revving? I would start my checking the 2 rear diff mounts and if its a mid 07 or older the front diff mount and trans and engine mounts. If its a mid 07 or later and has the torque are check the 2 diff mounts and bolts the 4 bolts the connect the diff torque arm mount to the diff and the 2 large bolts the attach the torque are to the mount and the 2 large bolts that attach it to the trans and also the engine mounts. Also if you have a mechanical camera the ones for scoping engines you can check the clutch for its condition though the hole in the bell housing on the driver side under the hood where he clutch hose goes into the trans. Hope this helps

It's an 06, from what he has posted on other forums, so it's probably the infamous 06 clunk.
