Regarding the ETA - I wish I had more information at this point, I just didn't have any new information, ETA or updates to post yet from our manufacturer.  I generally like to wait until I have some info to share and I put a message in yesterday to get an update and as soon as I hear back I will post that information here and on the Solsticeforums!
I know there was another post in here that has been deleted stating that the bars were shipped from the manufacture around Christmas.  Once you opened that can of worms, you obligated yourself to updates even if it is to say that nothing has changed, as there is now a higher level of expectation.

[edited: removed posts quoted from banned member]The bars will end up in everyone's possession, just with an abysmal schedule slip.  They should not have signed on for a group buy without having all of the manufacturing ironed out though, and are certainly not helping build customer confidence with this debacle.

You are being a bit melodramatic.  The bars will end up in everyone's possession, just with an abysmal schedule slip.  They should not have signed on for a group buy without having all of the manufacturing ironed out though, and are certainly not helping build customer confidence with this debacle.

I did not delete a post stating that the bars shipped, on I believe it was post #108 I posted what I was told by my manufacturer and that the bars were finished and would be shipping shortly.  We have received a couple sets of bars for test fitting but not the entire order yet.

Yes, everyone will get their bars and I again apologize for the confusion and delays.

So what is the hold up this week?  Are they at the SHOT Show drumming up more business that is keeping them from filling orders?

The rears are done and we are just waiting on the fronts to be completed.  I am trying to get them to send out just the rears and then the fronts when they are done.  A large job for another company got stuck in between our rears and fronts production runs.

Dave thanks for the update.  If we're only talking a few more weeks for the fronts to be completed I'm cool with waiting so the F&R can be sent out at the same time.  Car is parked and will be for several more weeks, plus it's too cold in the garage to do anything.  So waiting a little longer for the front is fine by me.

No they're going to team up with KaleCo install one of these on a big truck full of sway bars.

Go back to October and ship parts out so that they can deliver on time and save face.

Then they won't post saying "A large job for another company got stuck in between our rears" thus Elff won't be in so much pain trying to resist making anal jokes about it like this one:

When the bars do finally show up we can say "holy crap, what did you pull those out of your....."

Parts bin, come on people get your minds out of the gutter.

Hi all,

I am sorry for not posting any information but I just haven't had good news to report.  The rear bars are finished and are being palletized and shipped to us sometime next week on a single pallet.  Once they arrive we will break them down and drill all of the clamps for the grease fittings and ship the rears out to everyone.  The bar kits will be boxed seperately 1 box for the front kit and 1 box for the rear kit.

As soon as our manufacturer finishes up the large run they are working on the fronts will be run, boxed and shipped on a seperate pallet to us.  Due to the amount of orders on this initial run they will not be drop shipped from the manufacturer but it may be possible to drop ship an order or 2 in the future for purchases if we are out of stock here at our shop.

I again apologize for the delays, if I knew that there were going to be these types of delays with this initial run I would not have opened up the group buy when I did.

To expedite things you might consider drilling the bushings while you are waiting for the bars to show up at your door. That way we aren't waiting for bushings while the bars sit on the dock.

Great idea Bob and I certainly would if I could, the manufacturer is providing the bushings along with the brackets and the bars in each kit.  I have the drill and Zerk fittings ready to go as soon as they show up though!

I cannot speak for anyone else, but I bought a front/rear kit and would rather receive them both in one shipment.  I am not going to install one without the other, so partial shipment is more of a pain for me.  What would be helpful is an honest estimate on completion and delivery...

I too am not going to install one without the other. If a few bucks can be saved by either party I'm okay with receiving them together. Yeah please be upfront with us on the completion date and talk to your supplier before you answer.

I too would like mine shipped together.

Also Dave, please remember my set should be shipped un-powder coated, as I am having them done locally in custom color.

Two more weeks of radio silence. How hard is it to call a manufacturer, find out what is going on, get them to commit to a date, and relay that to the people that have given you thousands of dollars?

Most of those on the forum understand the production delays. I am new to the game but will most likely be sporting a pair of these once the initial customers are taken care of.
And Hello to all ! My first post here.

Josh,

I have e-mailed and chatted with my manufacturer a few times since my last update but just didn't have anything positive to post.  As of my conversation with them late yesterday, the rear bars are supposed to be here by the end of next week.  Whether or not that happens is another story, but hopefully it will happen.  I am keeping on them as best I can without pissing them off too much.  These guys are a huge sway bar manufacturer so our little bar order of 40 bars I am sure easily gets pushed to the side when they have larger companies orders to fill.

Again I am very sorry for the delays and in addition to the grease Zerk fittings on all bars I will throw in some freebies for everyone's extra patience!!!
