I have to think that the DDM brace and venom brace do complement each other maybe 30% due to the vectors of the support.  The DDM brace comes up and over and controls and controls the z axis if you will, while the latin venom brace primarily supports the y axis (if going forward is the x axis).  The tabs that are on the latin venom brace also support control of the y axis for sure though.  That's my humble opinion but I think I have only seen "seat of the pants" antedotes and no metrics so far on the forums.

So going back to the sway bars, say I put those items from DDM as mentioned before, so do I still really need these sway bars?  Are the factory sway bars for a base model just not enough?  I like hearing the tire patch reason and even if it's over the top for the braces, I would like to "perceive" that getting these sway bars are going to help with extra cornering on the highway rampway at higher speed or get better stability.  Since these are better than the ZOK, anybody know how much of a major impact those made?

okay I will keep it simple.  only pictures I could find, but pretend this is your car:

Softest:

middle:

Hardest:

What is the one thing you notice?   That is what a stiffer sway bar will do for you, keep the car planted and level.  I cannot vouch for these as I haven't tried them, but they are from one of our trusted vendors.

So for anyone who's still on the fence... let me chime in.  I can't speak for these bar in specific, but I can speak for the work of Dave and crew, and various sway bars on the Solstice GXP.

As many of you know I autocross on a national level (competed with DrJones and SnaponBob), and as such has sought out better handling out of car.  I'd say the car, stock (the GXP has the base model upgraded sway bars as it's stock) understeers in corners.  Upgrading to the Z0K sway bar in the rear helped the car move more towards neutral handling.

I'd still like a bit more sway bar, hence why I got in on these.  My car (granted it's a bit more power than stock now) still can push a bit mid corner if you're on the gas too hard.  I'd like to keep it planted a bit more to get the power to the ground sooner coming out of the corner.  I'm looking forward to installing these and testing them out come spring.

Wife called me at work this AM asking about CC charge (hadn't told her yet), so does that mean these are being shipped out?  I was under the assumption we were trying to get 20 orders before CC processing would occur.

I was charged the day I placed my order.  Typically cards are not charged until an item is shipped, but with something like a group buy I consider that an exception.

For group buys and actually all of our orders we process the payments up front.  Same thing as if you were to buy lets say carpet from Home Depot, you pay for the entire order along with installation up front the day you order it.

I will be closing this group buy this Friday and then the bars will be going back up to full price so think of it as a nice little savings!
