Title: What's on your Christmas list this year?
Post by: Sly Bob on December 01, 2012, 09:33:36 PM
This year I hope Santa brings me an IR thermometer with a 10:1 spot and a TPMS learn tool for the car.

If you put a deposit down on something for the sky,
does that count as being on your wish list?

A new transmission for Lindsey and some new fenders, front end, hood, and rear fascia. That's not took much is it? Oh and a rebuilt 2.4L for would be great!

What's on your list?

CanTire had one that would have worked (had appropriate range) super cheap recently.  Almost bought one for the same reason ;)  But I'm thinking about treating myself to my laser "jammers" in a few months and putting away a jammer-fund lately.

5-in-1 Multimeter that also reads frequency & duty cycle AND luminance (for my LED projects ;) )

But that GM tool looks pretty cool, Bob.  Just found out my Sol has the "lost TPMS learn" fault - 2 months AFTER my 3/36 expired.  Agggh.

I never thought you going to have any problems if any of your electrical circuits goes bad ... well

So that tool prevents you from having to walk around the car and letting air out of the tires to identify which sensor is where?

Yeah, but it's a software problem!  Needs to be reflashed with a fix, I hesitate to take it in to the dealer, but they *might* do it for free (where's that 'flying pigs' icon?)

Dave NO,  I think that means it is already yours and partly paid for . The Wish List is hoping somebody else makes the rest of balance Due Paid for.  Either way you'll get it .     :knock:

Manual. Was thinking of dropping her off at DDM for the long winter and doing a huge build project, but alas, I cannot live without her. Way to much fun to drive in the snow. LOL!

Yes it does, here's a video of how it works.

Ok, after fooling around and teasing other owner here is my only wish for this Christmas:
To be allowed to drive it in future safely and not to be afraid of big fines or impound :(

OK
That only eliminates the need to change the air pressure, you still have to walk around the car.

Not really worth it for me, as when I have put new RIMS on the sky, I need to make sure the tires have the right amount of pressure when they are mounted on the car.

All I'd' like for Christmas is a dry winding road and the time to enjoy it!  Not likely to get either here at this time of year, though.

We got plenty of dry roads here but only a few winding ones. And most of the winding ones are in the  state or federal parks system so the speed limits are low...

Come to PA
We have winding roads which are dry at least 60% of the time
We also have potholes
Uneven raised surfaces
Exposed manhole covers
Downed trees
Collapsing bridges
Lots of people txting and talking while driving
It will make your drive very interesting
:D

Don't come to San Diego. We have dry winding roads and perfect weather. But if everyone comes here, my roads wont be as enjoyable.

Two problems with your story

You don't have a car anymore.

When you did you wrecked it on a wet road.

Oh crap! And here I am flying in from Singapore just to come to San Diego for Christmas. Oh wait....I always land at Lindberg Field. Perfect weather you say? Cool. I'm sick of monsoons. Actually I've got to go to Ventura to pick up the Ghost from the body shop. Had projectors from HID Pro put on, and a new Solo exhaust from DDM. Can't wait to see, and hear it.

Welcome back home deepwater805!  You are in for a sweet sound and better performance with the Solo exhaust!  Since we added the Solo Mach exhaust at the Carolina NASSM there is no mistaking the roar from the rear, it is awesome...love the sound and added performance of the "Eagle"!  Congrats Indeed!!!  :urock: :usa:
