Re: Question; about staggered wheels

Staggered is doable for sure several kappas are like this with aftermarket wheels.  It would affect the balance at the extremes when you push the car to the limit.  Supercars that come out of the factory are engineered / setup to run staggered wheels.  The kappa cars are setup to run square.  I would have gone staggered because racecar, but being a strategic-cheapass a square setup makes more sense.
Wow thanks. Did you see (below) what was said about the difference being 10% and how it would affect ?

I'm not sure if your 22" wheels have a corresponding decrease in sidewall height to get back to the same diameter as stock?  If not, that extra 2" is a 10% difference.  So your gearing would get longer by 10% and your speedo would be off by 10% (slow).
Amazing, thank you!

I was referring to width only, doh! Didn't realize you were also considering the diameter when you were asking about staggered.  Agree with 10%, changing the diameter will change your overall gearing and impact your speedometer.  You can easily compensate the speedometer with a tune, however if you don't have a turbo it's going to be more of a dog.  22" wheels going to force compromises with this car.
