Next are the door speakers.
All these are still running of the factory monsoon 7 system amp.
In keeping with the Blue Demon theme, I went with dual illumination 6.5 door speakers. cut out the fake grill of the door panels and install. The hard part to these was running the additional power wires through the door loom for the illumination. Fortunatly I was doing the lambo hinges at the same time so the fenders were off making the access easier.

Now the rear speakers.
What I decided to do since I rarly used it for anything else was to replace the waterfall storage door with a fiberglass one and install a single 4" speaker wired to both left and right rears to get all stereo seperated sounds into one speaker, and two one inch tweeters. These are all the dual iluminations also.
Fabing the new door was not as bad as I thought is would be having never fiberglassed before. Having an actual piece to mold was a lifesaver also. I seperated the top piece of the door assembly adn wrapped it in wax paper and then in plastic wrap. From that point I simply started to layer the resin and fiber cloth in repeating order intil I felt I had a good thinkness. Once dried, the original simply pealed out the back. I them placed the original on top of the fiberglass piece and traced aound it. Trimmed it down and sanded to the traced line, test fitting the waterfall as I went. One I did end up having to do is use the outer edge of the inner door piece by cutting out the middle to use as a spacer so the fiber piece stayed flush to teh waterfall surface.
Cut the holes, sand out, paint and install. I used screws to mount it cause I want to be able to remove the door if need be but may fill the holes and bond it in perminently in time. Big difference in rear sound and great with the top down.
