Installed my spoiler at the SMMM5, only to screw it up before I even left

As some of you may remember I was looking for the 07-09 bump stops for the trunk which I could not get.  Well I got some hard rubber and installed them in the place of the stops.  Looked good so Joe and i installed the spoiler.  Second time I open the trunk I bumped the new spoiler.  No big deal I will just be carefull.  by the end of the weekend I ended up with the boo-boo you see in the first picture.

Second picture is off the new bump stop Joe made for me. 

In the 3rd picture I took two layers off of it, cut it into two right size pieces and installed them.

The last picture is the clearance I now have, no more danger of bumping the spoiler.  now I just have to talk Joe into fixing the damage I caused.

The car is looking very good.  I was kidding about he King of Bling comment, but your getting close...LOL  I just saw the interior door inserts,  Those turned out great!

Thanks, but I think Joe is the king of Bling.  Car is getting there, as soon as I find some stripes I like, I think I will be done.

Until DDM forces me to spend some more money, even though I can't get the power I have to the ground. :rofl:

I'm at 270 or so, 1st and 2nd are a handfull.  You probably have a problem all the way to 5th.

JPM or DDM left some rubber stopper things and DBG was able to use those. JPM or DDM needs to leave some more of those so that I can have a spoiler. :D

Some kind of molding adhessive.

Make sure the rubber is hard real hard, you will be suprised how much it will compress.

Cool. I'm thinking that a good piece of tire tread might be the ticket.

I've been wanting the Aftershock spoiler for a while, but don't yet have the $$ to put in that direction. Perhaps for Christmas. :D
