What are the size limits on avatars
« on: December 13, 2008, 08:26:58 PM »
Just wondering when you try to save a picture for use as an avatar there is no information on how big a picture can be.  I ended up just resizing a picture until the system would accept it as an avatar but that is kind of a pain.  Is there some place that explains the size limits?  Either pixels or KB?

Any externally hosted avatar (one from Photobucket for example) - can be 100 x 150

One that is uploaded to the forum can only be 70 x 120.
