Now for the bad news -  it's not the cruise control, and it's intermittent (dealer speak for "this is going to be a good income source for a while").

Next step - clean the throttle body if I can get to it. Nobody designed this engine bay with any thought given to routine service.  Bah!   :idk:  :mad:

The problem with intermittents: you're never quite sure that you've fixed the problem (or problems)!   :gaah:
