i've driven A LOT in limp mode (unfortunately) sometimes 50 miles.

i guarantee that limp mode is not "normal performance" minus turbo, the engine is so incredibly sluggish, worse than the crappiest rental car i've ever had. limp mode is "something is wrong, we're going to make sure nothing else goes wrong"

it goes really rich and the timing is horrible. it's a tiny fraction of the power.

WTF ken!   50 miles?  why drive that long on limp?

A year ago, when I go to limp mode while driving, I just turn off the engine while moving on the highway.....and turn the ignition again, to remove the limp, and go back to "normal" driving.  :)

driving on LIMP is really bad.   Engine is really weak, almost like driving a 1.3liter kia....which I've driven before. sucks.....

Cuz I was 50 miles from home and restarting, resetting with HPT didn't fix it :)

My tune is f'd up, but I don't drive the car a lot lately and haven't had time to fix it.

Kenny you still having problems?

My check engine light went off. But I haven't had time to play so not sure what codes are still in the system. I just haven't touched the car apart from a few drives to get groceries and such over the last few months. Just haven't had time to play with it.

Hopefully I'll have some more time next in the next few months.
